One day Vanita Parti had an idea. She envisioned a place where people could just walk in for a professional eyebrow session without an appointment. Things were not that easy back in 2004: appointments were needed for any type of beauty treatment. So she opened a brow bar in Fenwick and called it the Brow Blink Bar.
It is not that she focused on eyebrows by accident. Vanita’s family comes from India, where threading has been practiced for thousands of years. Also, cosmetics-wise she’s always been “fixated on eyes”, and she wanted to share that fixation worldwide.
Soon after opening her Brow Blink Bar, Vanita realized that women wanted to take control of their eyebrows and keep them looking fabulous until their next visit to her bar. So in 2005 she launched her line of cosmetics and shortened the name to BBB. She first came up with a brow pencil, and the eyecare family has kept growing ever since. Now we are fixated on eyes too.
