Everything in Aesop is elaborated in an obsessive and exquisite way. This deodorant is no exception. It takes between 2 and 10 years to formulate a product in Aesop, the Australian brand founded in 1986. That means nothing about them is left to chance. 

Aesop has been creating products for men and women for more than thirty years, not many brands have. And this aluminum-free liquid deodorant is just another result of that. 

How does it work? It has a two-fold function, preventing and neutralizing our underarm odor. The active ingredient is zinc ricinoleate, which does not inhibit normal perspiration but rather "fix" odors produced by the bacterial breakdown. These are not released into the atmosphere and therefore cause no smell. It also contains sage and hazelnut.  

So much for a prosaical explanation of its benefits. On the poetic side, it comes from Aesop. Some brands need no explanation.
