Jim Morrison and Daria Halprin in Zabriskie Point are the male and female references of this eau de parfum. Hippie Rose smells of California, desert sand, flower shirts, worn-out jeans, tangled hair, and tanned skin. At the same time, it smells of Tibetan monasteries, morning light, tunics, stone, and chants. Hippie Rose is all about freedom, carefreeness, and letting go.
How is this translated into a scent? James Heeley’s answer to this question is a blend of Bulgarian rose, green patchouli, amber, and incense. Hippie Rose is a very contemporary fragrance, eclectic, in which the masculine and the feminine mix without shame.
OLFACTORY NOTES:
- Top: Bergamot. Green moss.
- Heart: Bulgarian rose. Patchouli.
- Base: Incense. Vetiver from Haiti. Amber. Musk.
* Mix it with St Clement’s if you wish to add a citrus note.
We like it for:
- It is fresh despite the woody and floral raw material.
- It is quite sexy.
- It is long-lasting and remembered.
