Puissante
Puissante means, in French, "powerful". That’s how this brand of sexual wellbeing products wants women to feel. It was the idea of Marie Comacle, an engineer in her late twenties who launched her project in early 2021. She has this thing clear in her head: sexual wellbeing is an essential part of our Well-being, no surname is needed. Her manifesto speaks about the importance of vindicating our will to feel good and don’t be afraid to say so.
The product up front her idea is Coco, a new toy part of the new generation of pleasure gadgets. Designed with sense and sensibility in mind, it is not instilling, nor tense. There’s fresh and playful air to it.
Puissante donates 1 euro for each product to the French NGO Les Orchids Rouges, founded by Kakpotia Marie-Claire Moraldo to support girls and women victims of genital mutilation and forced marriage.
Puissante argues that dedicating time to ourselves is essential. It’s a way to find and get to know ourselves better, feeling good under our skin and in our head. Because that’s what feeling powerful means.
