Oranges and lemons,
Say the bells of St. Clement's.
These are the first lines of a traditional English nursery rhyme from the 18th century. This is a statement for a traditional eau de toilette, with a classic structure turned into an adult, contemporary, fresh English eau de parfum. It obviously contains oranges and lemons, but also bergamot and neroli. The English notes are extracts of Earl Grey tea and vetiver. This is quite an inspired citrus.
Heeley is a French niche perfumery house created by English designer James Heeley. The best of both cultures are found in their fragrances. St. Clement’s has the French chic and the English freshness.
This is a great perfume for the office. It is discreet with an attitude. If it were a man, it would be someone sitting at the bar in the Connaught Hotel or someone wandering around Mayfair. If it were a woman, just the same. See them?
OLFACTORY NOTES:
- Top: Orange. Lemon. Bergamot. Tangerine.
- Heart: Neroli. Petitgrain. Earl Gray tea.
- Base: Ylang Ylang. Vetiver.
* Mix it with Hippie Rose if you wish to add an eclectic note.
We like it for:
- It actually smells like oranges and lemons.
- It gives a chance to talk about nursery rhymes.
- It is clean and suits men and women alike.
