FNUG Women Founded
Charlotte Fnug Munksgaard was not allowed to wear makeup as a child, so she grew up determined to turn her temptation into her profession. At the age of 19, she began to travel around the world learning about nail polish and ten years later she founded her own brand back in Denmark.
Fnug (the f is silent) is Danish for ‘little’, and a popular, affectionate nickname in her family. As a second meaning, it translates ‘flake’. Fnug is also a nail polish brand. New colours are launched every season to keep up with the trends. This is Scandinavian style, there is no fear of colour.
Fnug glazes are fortified with (vegans beware!) caviar, which contains bone-strengthening amino acids. They are free of formaldehyde, toluene, and dibutyl phthalate [DBP]. And they are easy to apply and spread.
Fnug comes in an organza pouch. We like these fnug details.
