This Aesop toothpaste is like no other. Everything by Aesop is. Don't expect foams or mint flavorings. This is a fluoride-free paste containing sea buckthorn (for sensitive gums), cardamom essence oil and wasabi (both antimicrobial plaque removers). Don’t panic, however: it does not taste like wasabi. It just leaves you with a feeling of absolute hygiene in teeth and gums. 

In Aesop the how matters as much as the what. The packaging is just as important as the content. The how has been extensively copied since 1987, when the company was founded in Melbourne. In this case, it’s just a tube, a font (Helvetica and Optima) and some emphatic message.
